If you have a Navegante Pass, you may be eligible for free ride minutes each month when using our service in Lisbon.

Who is eligible?

You can use the Navegante Pass Benefit if:

  • You live in the Lisbon Municipality
  • You have a valid Navegante Pass for the current month

Important: This benefit is only available to residents of the Lisbon Municipality. Even if you purchased a Navegante Pass in a nearby city, the benefit will not apply outside Lisbon.

Where the benefit applies

The Navegante Pass Benefit only works for rides that take place within Lisbon.

If your ride starts or ends outside of Lisbon, the benefit will not apply and standard pricing will be charged.

This is the most common reason riders are charged even when they have an active Navegante Pass.

What’s included?

With this benefit, you receive:

  • 66 free minutes per month
  • Up to 10 rides per month
  • Valid on both scooters and e-bikes within Lisbon

How to activate your benefit

To activate:

  1. Purchase your Navegante Pass for the current month
  2. Open the app and find the Navegante announcement
  3. Enter your Navegante Card Number
  4. Enter the Tax Number (NIF) used to purchase the pass

Once your information is verified (takes 5-10 business days) your free minutes will be added to your account.

Monthly re-activation required

This benefit must be activated every month.

Because the Navegante Pass renews monthly, you will need to re-enter your details each month to receive your new free minutes.

Usage limits

The benefit includes two limits:

  • 66 total free minutes
  • Maximum of 10 rides per month

The benefit ends when you reach either limit, whichever comes first.

If you complete 10 rides before using all 66 minutes, any remaining minutes will expire.

 

FAQ

Why was I charged?

You may be charged for one of the following reasons:

  • Your ride started or ended outside of Lisbon
  • You reached the 10-ride limit for the month
  • You used all 66 free minutes

If any of the above apply, standard pricing will be charged.

Why am I seeing a “not eligible” error?

This usually happens if:

  • You are not a resident of the Lisbon Municipality
  • The Tax Number (NIF) entered does not match the one used to purchase your Navegante Pass

Please double-check your information and try again.

Do unused minutes roll over?

No. Any unused minutes expire at the end of the month and do not carry over.

Can I use this on both scooters and bikes?

Yes. The benefit applies to both scooters and e-bikes within Lisbon.
