Bird / Spin Access Program

We offer Bird & Spin Access, an option for low-income riders only that offers a reduced riding price (limited number per day) who are enrolled or eligible for a government assistance program.

• Bird access: Currently in, Seattle, Denver, Atlanta, and New York City
• Spin access is available in various different markets 

After you exceed the limited number of rides per day, our standard pricing will apply.

How to enroll:

1. Download the Bird or Spin app and create an account.

2. Submit your application by filling out the request form here. Please include:

   1. Proof of eligibility (e.g., government assistance document)

   2. A valid government-issued ID

   3. Your full name and phone number

   4. The email address associated with your account (this can be found in the settings tab of your app)
      1. Please make sure you have the correct email in order to avoid delays

Once submitted, a member of our support team will review your application and contact you with the result—whether approved, denied, or if additional information is needed.

Please note, as a rider using the Bird or Spin Access Programs, you are still bound by the terms of Bird's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Bird's Rental Agreement. By participating in the Low Income Program, you agree that access to the Low Income Program: (i) must be used for the intended audience and purpose, and in a lawful manner; (ii) may not be sold or transferred in any manner, unless expressly permitted by Bird; (iii) may be disabled by Bird at any time for any reason without liability to Bird; (iv) may only be used pursuant to the specific terms that Bird establishes for such Program; and (v) may be subject to quantity or value limits as determined by Bird. Bird reserves the right to terminate access to the Low Income Program in the event that Bird determines or believes that the use of the Program was in error, fraudulent, illegal, or otherwise in violation of Bird's Agreements or specific terms applicable to the Low Income Program. Please note: Access program pricing, discounts, and community program benefits are promotional and may be adjusted or discontinued at Bird/Spin’s discretion at any time.
