Ride Without Smartphone

We are proud to offer text-to-ride through SMS text message for those without access to the app, as well as cash payment options here. To enroll, reach out to us via email at TextToRide@Bird.co.

This program is not available in Europe and the Middle East.

How to enroll:

1. Submit your application by filling out the request form here. Please include::
   1. Proof of eligibility (e.g., government assistance document)
   2. A valid government-issued ID
   3. Your full name and phone number

How to use once added onto the program

1. To start a ride:
   1. Text ‘UNLOCK’ and the Vehicle ID to a designated number (you will receive this number after sign up).
2. To end a ride:
   1. Text ‘LOCK’ and safely park the vehicle.
