We're sorry to hear you had trouble ending your ride!
If you're having trouble ending your ride, don't worry—let's see if we can solve this together. Here are a few common reasons why this might be happening, along with some quick tips to help:
1. You Might Be in a No Parking Zone
Sometimes, cities require us to set up no parking zones to keep things organized. These zones are shown in grey on the Bird app map. If you're in one of these areas, you'll need to move out of the zone to end your ride.
Tip: Check the map in your Bird app for details, and once you're out of the zone, you should be able to end your ride easily.
If this caused a delay, reach out to us here —we're here to help!
2. You May Not Be in a Parking Spot
In some cities, there are designated parking spots marked with a “P” on the map, and you’ll need to park there to end your ride.
Tip: If you’re already in a parking spot but still can't end the ride, it could be a GPS issue. We’re really sorry about that!
Let us know by filling out our support form here, and we'll check it out for you. If needed, we'll look into providing a credit.
3. Weak Internet Connection
A poor internet connection can sometimes interfere with ending your ride.
Tip: Try switching Airplane mode on and off to reset your connection. This often resolves the issue.
