I had an issue with a cable lock

Step 1: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. [iOS only] To do this open up your phone settings > Bluetooth > Turn on bluetooth

[iOS only] Step 2: Give Bluetooth permission to the Bird app. To do this in your phone settings navigate to the Bird app > enable bluetooth

[Android only] Step 2: Give location permission to the Bird app.

Step 3: Scan the vehicle to start your ride.

Step 4: Press the round button on the cable lock. It should light up. Wait for the light to turn blue. Then the cable pin should pop out out of the lock.

Step 5: Pull the cable free from the lock and the bike rack.

Step 6: Start riding!

Step 1: Move your vehicle to the nearest bike rack. (The Bird app may show bike rack locations with a “P”.)

Step 2: Line up your vehicle along the bike rack, so it is not obstructing pedestrian or vehicle traffic.

Step 3: Wrap the cable around the bike rack and reinsert the pin.

Step 4: End your ride using the Bird app.

Step 5: The app will prompt you to take a photo to prove you followed local parking regulations. Ensure your photo shows your vehicle secured to a bike rack with the cable lock.

Step 5: Pull the cable free from the bike rack and place it inside the round holder to keep it snug during your ride.

Step 6: Start riding!
