How are you able to offer vehicles in a city when we do not have a permit to operate there?
Current permits limit scooter-share rentals on the public rights of way. With monthly personal rentals, the vehicle you rent is personal to you and cannot be shared with another person. With your personal rental, you’re able to ride wherever personal micromobility vehicles are permitted by local law.
Is personal rentals a work around for city regulations?
Monthly personal rentals help meet the daily commuter transportation needs of everyone in the community, and this affordable and reliable option helps us meet those needs. As long as individuals are permitted to own and ride their own vehicles in a city, they should also be permitted to rent and ride their own vehicle. Monthly personal rentals allow you to have the flexibility of having a scooter anytime you want to avoid traffic, at a fraction of the cost and no commitment.
Does the monthly fee include tax?
Tax varies by city. When you sign up for a personal rental, if tax is included it will show as a line item in the purchase process.
